David Szalay wins the Booker prize

At the risk of sounding like I am invested in the Booker Prize, which I'm not, despite other mentions in these annals, David Szalay has won the prize. I'm only mentioning it becuase I read this over the weekend, not realising the Booker was about to be announced, and yesterday, Monday, the win was announced.

I liked it a lot, but as I've only read one other book in the shortlist, I can't say whether it was a worthy winner. What I do know is that it crept under my skin and stayed there. I'm still thinking about it. I also know that it could be a book I return to, just to see what I missed in my first reading.
